Cookie Dough Lovers
Found a new recipe I knew my sweetheart would enjoy this Valentine's Day, frozen chocolate chip cookie dough. Dipped and decorated, these treats look scrumptious too!
Here's how to dress them up for your sweetie ~
- Mix recipe as directed.
- Loosely portion out the dough onto wax paper using a small scoop which made 40 for me.
- Pop into freezer for about 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from freezer and shape well, placing back on wax paper. For the hearts, use a small heart shape cookie cutter, molding inside the cutter rather than cutting the dough.
- Place the shapes back into freezer for at least an hour then transfer to refrigerator.
- Melt chocolate chips or chocolate candy melts according to directions.
- Dip the shapes individually, working in small batches while the other shapes remain refrigerated.
- Sprinkle with candies before coating hardens or drizzle with melted candy coating later.
- Allow coating and decorations to harden.
- Store in airtight container in freezer.
Enjoy! and Happy Valentine's Day!
